Straw Hat Pikachu 2019 Event is Here!
Next week, Pokémon Go will get a dose of One Piece. From July 22, gamers will be able to capture a Pikachu wearing a straw hat, similar to the one worn by One Piece protagonist Monkey D. Luffy. It’s part of a fundraiser towards the rehabilitation of Kumamoto Prefecture in Japan, which was devastated by a terrible earthquake in 2016.
The Pokémon Go event is a component of the bigger of the One Piece Kumamoto Reconstruction Project.
