Sudowoodo #185

Sudowoodo is a Pokémon with a brown, log-like body and yellow markings. It has short legs and toeless feet, as well as narrow forelegs with three green spheres on the tips of its fingers. The top of its head features a forked “branch” that is shorter on the female than on the male. Despite its look, Sudowoodo is more like a rock than a plant.

To avoid being attacked, Sudowoodo disguises itself as a tree and stands along routes. Its concealment fails in the winter because its forelegs, unlike genuine trees, stay green. Sudowoodo is very sensitive to water and despises it, thus once it begins to rain, it will shatter their disguise and escape to the closest source of refuge. Its arms have grown supple but muscular as a result of holding its stance for so long. It’s popular among the elderly, with periodicals and fans dedicated to its arm angle and length. Sudowoodo may be found in the woods. Mimic was Generation II’s hallmark move.
