From May 2 to May 11 Mega Scizor will appear in Mega Raids.

Seasonal bonuses: Rising Heroes

From May 2, 2023 10:00am to May 8, 2023 8:00pm local time the Instinctive Hero event takes place. Larvesta and Volcarona will make their debut, shiny Mantyke is released, and special research will be available that rewards an encounter with a Spark-themed Elekid.

May 2023 Research Breakthrough

The following Pokémon hatch from Adventure Sync Eggs this Season. These are just some highlighted Egg hatches, more Pokémon can hatch from each egg group.

• From March 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT -7) to June 1, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.
  PDT (GMT -7)
• Complete Field Research tasks during the whole season to earn an encounter from a pool of Pokémon, including Parasect, Pinsir, Snorlax, Furfrou, Gible and Goomy.

May 2023 Research Tasks

The following will occur at the beginning of the Season.

• Increased damage dealt by Pokémon participating in raids remotely
• Team GO Rocket will appear more frequently at PokéStops
• Extra Stardust earned from Team GO Rocket encounters
