Biology

Torchic is a tiny, chubby Pokémon with downy yellow wings. It has orange feathers covering its body. It has an orange and yellow flame-like crest on its head. It has three toes in front and one in back on its two slender legs and small beak, which are a pale brownish yellow. Male Torchics have a little black spot on their back that females do not have.

This Pokémon has a place in its belly where it maintains a flame. Torchic feels warm when embraced because of its internal flame. When assaulted, it will launch 1,800 °F (1,000 °C) fireballs at its opponents, scorching them black. It hates the dark since it can’t see its surroundings. Torchic will take shaky steps behind its Trainer. Torchic is seldom encountered in the wild, however it is known to live in grasslands.
