Toxicroak #454
Biology
Toxicroak is a bipedal Pokémon that looks like a poison dart frog in dark blue and teal. Its head has a softly curving spike that seems to be a portion of the skull. It has intense yellow eyes that are ominous and scary, with a little snake-like pupil. Its mouth resembles a mouthguard, with its crimson top lip curving upward at the ends in a menacing fashion. Toxicroaks have a bulbous red vocal sac behind their chin, which is smaller on females. On the back of each hand, it bears three fingers and one huge crimson claw. The poison may be channeled via the claws on the backs of their hands. Its forearms are encircled by two black bands. Its legs are strong and seem to be designed for quick assaults. It has three toes on each foot, with a crimson middle toe on each and a sharp spike protruding from its heels. Two white horizontal lines go underneath the pelvic region. Thick black lines run down its sides and around its limbs, giving the impression that the limbs are removable. The black lines go up its face and around its eyes before coming together in the center of its snout, right above the top lip.
Toxicroak’s croaking churns the poison contained in the poison sac on their neck, increasing its strength. Toxicroak emits poison by stings or claws, but it may also poison when touched. Possibly if it is just a scratch, this poison may put an opponent unconscious or even kill them. Toxicroak’s venom may be diluted into a tonic after being cooked for two days with different wild plants. When an adversary is beaten, Toxicroak lets out a victory croak. It may be vicious and frightening, or it can be fairly relaxed, sitting on rocks and in marshes and examining the scenery around it. Seismitoad is connected to Toxicroak and its pre-evolved predecessor, Croagunk. Toxicroak prefers damp regions near sources of water.
