Biology
Tynamo is a small, white eel with dark, oval eyes and a crimson, four-point star-shaped mouth. A wavy yellow stripe runs down the length of its body, which has a long fin membrane and a tapering form.
Tynamo possesses an organ that produces electricity, which it releases when threatened. Because a single Tynamo does not have much power, groups of Tynamo move in schools and produce a lightning-like shock. Tynamo may be seen swimming in or jumping out of bodies of water in Pokémon Company product artwork and various TCG graphics.
