Vanillish has a huge, white, circular upper body with swirls snow on top, suggesting a scoop of vanilla ice cream on a waffle cone. It has dark blue eyes with tiny ice crystals on the sides. Vanillish has a dark blue lips, two ice crystals below its mouth, and icicle-like limbs. It features a huge icicle-like bottom body with a pointed lower body.
Vanillish dwells in the southern, icy mountains, where it moved during the last ice age. It makes ice within its body by swallowing water, which it then eject to conceal or freeze opponents. Its chilly breath may reach temperatures of 148 degrees Fahrenheit (100 degrees Celsius). With forceful headbutts, it may break frozen opponents. Vanillish are smaller in hotter places, and although they can refreeze their bodies despite melting, this process may deform their appearance.
