Vaporeon #134

Vaporeon is a Pokémon that has physical characteristics with both aquatic and terrestrial species. The body of a vaporeon is light blue, with a dark blue mark around its head and a spiky ridge along its spine. It has dark eyes and a little dark nose. There is a white fin around its neck and three cream-colored webbing fins on its head. One of these fins is on either side of its head, like ears, and one is right on top of its head, like a dorsal fin. A quadruped, Vaporeon has three tiny toes on each foot and dark blue paw pads on the rear feet. Its split tail fin has been mistaken for that of a mermaid in the past, which is said to be the origin of mermaid legend. It detects moisture with its fins, which vibrate when rain is imminent.

Vaporeon is typically seen in metropolitan areas and is owned by a Trainer. Although it is seldom observed in the wild, it favors pristine freshwater lakes and coastlines. It has evolved gills to adapt to an aquatic existence, and the similarity of its cell composition to water enables it to melt into the water. This ability allows Vaporeon to swim invisibly and ambush its prey: fish Pokémon.

One of the numerous captureable Pokemon in Pokemon GO is the Vaporeon.

Pokemon Go Cheat for Choosing Eevee Evolutions
You may name your Eevee Pyro (Flareon), Rainer (Vaporeon), or Sparky to choose which form it will develop into (Jolteon). This is an Easter Egg referencing the original anime series’ Eevee Brothers. It is important to note that you must use a capital initial letter and lower case names (so, “Pyro”, not “pyro”).
Note: Your name decision must be recorded on the Pokemon Go server; if you have a terrible connection, we suggest closing and restarting the app after naming your Eevee to ensure the data makes it across before evolving it.
