Biology
Wailord is a massive Pokémon inspired by the blue whale. It has tiny, beady eyes, a massive mouth, and a grooved throat. It features a blue back with four white spots, two breathing nostrils on top of its back, and a brown underbelly with grooves. It features two sets of fins on each side, as well as a horizontal tail in the rear.
Because of its size, it produces a huge splash when it jumps out of the water. By breaching and falling into the ocean, it may produce shockwaves that can knock out opponents. It can dive to 10,000 feet (3,000 meters) in a single breath. It dwells in big groups called pods in the water. A pod of Wailord travels together in search of food and may devour vast amounts at once, similar to schools of Wishiwashi. When it transforms into its School form, it will escape Wishiwashi. When a Wailmer is assaulted by its predators Sharpedo or Dhelmise, the whole pod comes to its aid. Wailord is well-known for its enormous size. As a consequence, Wailord-watching is a popular tourist activity in many regions of the globe. They are known to be chased away by fisherman, therefore they don’t consume a lot of fish Pokémon.
