Biology

Whimsicott is a bipedal Pokémon that is little and brown. It has a cotton-like fluff mane that covers its back, neck, and forehead. Behind it lies a green, star-shaped part resembling the junction of a plant’s stem or vine and a fruit or flower. Whimsicott’s face has orange, oval-shaped eyes and is flanked by a pair of green-colored lobes that look like coiled horns or ears.

Whimsicott’s body may be manipulated to pass through gaps of any size. It takes use of this capacity as a known prankster, shifting items and putting cotton balls behind. However, if it becomes wet, it will become too heavy to move and account for its misbehavior. Whimsicott looks capable of “riding upon the wind” despite weighing 14.6 lbs (6.6 kg), although whether this implies they cause whirlwinds or are transported by wind currents is unknown. Whimsicott enjoys spending time in the sun to develop its cotton, yet it will pull off and spread the cotton if it becomes too thick.
